Why I built a website instead of posting more

I'm just a long time lurker. I don't like social media, mainly becuase I know too much about how it works, how to target people and how much attention it uses up.

People say that, yes, you can use this power for good. But it's fighting against those who just want to suck up your attention and make money off it. That's why I've made this site. It's kind of an annecdote to the modern algorithm.

Yes, I've made tools, silly website things... but they aren't in your face. They are opt in - you only use them if you want to. And if you don't come back to the site, then that's also totally fine!

So this notebook might just gives you a thought or a spark, where something clicks and you don't need to doomscroll any more.

This is a place I'm going to think out loud. Some of it will be short and some of it will probably ramble. The important thing is, none of it is trying to go viral.
